Contributions may be made as a thoughtful tribute to the memory of a friend or relative, or to honor a special occasion. An acknowledgment card, without mention of the amount, will be sent to the family. A tax receipt will be sent to the donor. NEPTA is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. All donations are eligible to be tax-deductible.

General Operations: This unrestricted donation enables the Board to determine where your donation could be best used.

NEPTA Scholarships, Awards, and Grants-in-aid: This includes grants-in-aid to help students pay for lesson tuition, as well as the Angel Ramon Rivera, Louise Hodder Olson, Nancy Oliva, Miriam Pizer and Alice Procter awards.

The Margaret C. Bachelder Award is in memory of former NEPTA President, Peg Bachelder, to provide an award for the best performance of a Romantic piece in either the Alice Hamlet Competition or Ruth Davidson Competition.

The Susan B. Demb Teacher Enrichment Program was established in honor of retired member Sue Demb for the purpose of fostering teaching excellence. It provides teacher grants and special lecture programs.

The Music for Hope: A Charitable Recital is a recital to raise funds to support piano lessons for students in need. Its creation was inspired by the crossroads of COVID-19 and racial injustice to provide hope through music.
