We’ll look honestly at the habits and choices that drain creative energy versus the ones that restore it\, in the studio and beyond. And we’ll explore how to communicate who you are and what’s distinctive about your teaching\, so you can attract and keep more of the students you love to work with. \nAuthor of the classic\, “Beyond Talent: Creating a Successful Career in Music\,” Angela Myles Beeching is the former director of career and entrepreneurship programs at Manhattan School of Music\, Indiana University\, and New England Conservatory. A Fulbright Scholar\, Ms. Beeching holds a doctorate in cello and taught at universities in California and upstate New York before discovering she had this “other calling.” Her guest speaking at festivals\, conferences\, and music schools has taken her across the US and to Oslo\, Tokyo\, London\, Vienna\, and Helsinki.
